Quintessential Concierge has relaunched!

Yes, that’s right, we now have a brand new logo and website. Check us out at www.quintessentialconcierge.co.nz. We have even started a blog that we’ll keep updating regularly. So, be sure to give that a read.

Christmas Plans

With November upon us that means it’s time to start thinking about Christmas (eek)! Those things that need planning like, staff Christmas parites, client and staff gifts, Christmas cards etc.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Donna and Sean Clarkson from UK Flooring this month. They run a family business that supplies Carpets, Vinyls, Wood Flooring, Laminates and More! Client Shout-Out

This month’s shout out goes to Eunice and Peter Martin from The Olive Grove – Earth and Clay House and Garden.

In 1994, Eunice and Peter shocked friends, neighbours and relations when they purchased the French Pass quarry which consisted of four acres of gorse, broom, blackberry and every other noxious weed available, plus a large gully.

They have come a long way since 1994. The quarry is now extensively planted in native and exotic plants and trees plus fruit and nut trees which attract the birds including an increasing number of Tui’s and other natives. They have also planted a saffron plot and an olive grove containing trees of various varieties.

Their environmentally friendly rammed earth home nestles securely in it’s surrounding gardens which grow like topsy making it appear that it has been here a lot longer than it actually has and they’ve use a lot of recycled equipment which also helps to give the appearance of an older garden adding to the wonderful feeling of peace and tranquillity.

A more recent addition is a two story wooden barn which also nestles into the trees and houses our olive pressing equipment. On a Tuesday Eunice teaches mosaics in there – it is ideal and is enjoyed by all who attend.

Eunice and Peter invite you to view their home, garden and olive grove on your next garden tour and enjoy the experience of their personalised and informative tour at a relaxed pace and get tips about design, growing, and management.

Eunice and Peter have engaged our Website Maintenance services and I look forward to working with them. Eunice and Peter fit my client criteria very well, that being:

A couple in business that don’t have the expertise to maintain their own website.
Outsource the task of maintaining their website as they’d much rather be in the garden doing what they most enjoy!

This is a time of renewal and that’s exactly what we’re working on at present. We are in the process of REBRANDING, with a new website, business cards and lots, lots more. Watch this space!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Michelle from Go Easy Shuttles this month. I have booked her already for when our family next travel overseas! A brilliant service that’s full of convenience. They pick you up from your door and drop you to the airport. You don’t have to worry about a thing!

And what’s more Quintessential Concierge can add to that brilliant service by taking your pet to the cattery/kennel, dropping them back home before you return and even stocking your fridge with essentials i.e. bread and milk, so you can just come home, put your feet up and relax!

*NEWSFLASH* Facebook has updated its Page Terms! You can now run Facebook contests, promotions, sweepstakes and competitions on your Page without a third party app.

You can now run promotions (contests, sweepstakes or competitions) on your PAGE wall and/or via a third party app on Facebook. Pages can:

* collect entries via users (fans and non-fans) posting on the Page wall
* collect entries by users commenting or liking on a Page post
* collect entries by having users message the Page
* collect votes via likes (new fans, post likes)

There is just one small RULE, Pages need to comply with now and it’s around accurate tagging. Pages cannot: ask users to tag themselves in any images in order to enter contests.
